越谷レイクタウン－Koshigaya Laketown - largest shopping center in Japan

Koshigaya Laketown is located in Saitama prefecture, and near Koshigaya Laketown Station of JR Musashino Line. There is a EAON shopping center and it is said to be largest one in Japan. I hear the total floor space of shops is about 200,000㎡(2,152,782ft²). All kind of shops such as restaurants, clothes, books, stationary, and so on are there. If you come here and walk around countless large or small tenants, you will walk over 10,000steps soon. Probably it is good for your health. You can see many old people, especially old men walking around here. Oops, you may be one of them.

This day was the first day of Golden Week which is ten consecutive holidays from April 29 to May 6 only this year. This is why there is a enthronement ceremony for New Emperor Naruhito on May 1. These ten days are national holidays, but there are many people working hard during this period. We should thank these people for our enjoying shopping!!
