マザー牧場と台風１５号－Mother Farm and Typhoon No.15(September. 2019-No.25）

Mother Farm is located on Mt.Kanozan（鹿野山）, where you can see magnificent views of the mountains of Boso Peninsula, Tokyo Bay and Mt. Fuji. From the center of Tokyo, you can usually get here by car in about one and a half to two hours through Tokyo Bay Aqua Line and Tateyama Expressway. It is said that it is close to the city center but you can interact with abundant nature.

Surely, standing on a small hill in the ranch, we can see the gentle mountains of Boso Peninsula rich in green trees and Tokyo Bay. The day was very nice and the view was splendid, but we couldn't see Mt. Fuji. Typhoon No. 15 was close to Japan, and it was felt muggy and hot.

The day was Friday, and so many tourists did not see it, but there were many foreign tourists, elementary school groups, and elderly people. It is a place where children can enjoy, such as sheep and duck shows, and piglet races, but adults can also enjoy them.

Typhoon No. 15（台風１５号） landed near Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, 5 o'clock on the 9th, causing tremendous damage to the Boso Peninsula. Power outages and water outages occurred in a large area in Chiba Prefecture. Japan continued to suffer some kind of natural disaster throughout the year, and this is like the fate of people living in Japan, and always needs to be prepared. Every time people are in a spirit of hard work and recovered from that and started a new life. It is also important to keep the traditional idea that people help each other.

Mother Farm was also reopened on Saturday, September 28, after about three weeks of closure.

羊のショー　Show with many kinds of sheep. There was a demonstration of sheep hair cutting and the performance of a sheepdog, which made the audience entertained. Sheep hair was stiffer than I thought and seemed to be quite strong.
