旅の思い出・番外編ー北ベトナムの旅 Memories of trips-extra edition Trip to northern Vietnam-the promised Land for young people's

We arrived at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi on Mar. 11 2018. The second terminal of this airport has been constructed by Japanese construction company in 2014.

Speaking of Vietnam, our generation first recalls the Vietnam War. There are various views as to when the Vietnam War began, but it is said that it began in 1946 and ended in 1973. A fierce civil war has been taking place for over 25 years.
It was surprising that the United States, which boasts the strongest military power in the world, was defeated.
However, the scars of the war still remain throughout Vietnam. In particular the serious effects of defoliants still exist. We saw many people affected by defoliants were working at the textile factory. And the brothers, who was born in Vietnam as a combined twin with a lower body affected by defoliants, was operated in Japan, and the operation was successfully returned to Vietnam. How much did the Vietnamese people suffer?
Many in the United States, in Japan, and all over the world opposed the continuation of the Vietnam War. It can be said that humanity is not more precious than peace. I think humanity can overcome any difficulties as long as it is peace. The average age of all Vietnamese people is 28 years old. Walking in the city of Hanoi, we saw there were a lot of young people, many bikes, and it was extremely vibrant. I pray that Vietnam will flourish more and the world is peaceful. And I returned to the Narita International Airport on Mar. 14 2018.

The port area of Halong Bay. Many Westerners were also seen here. I heard they were  going to sleep on their ship. We ate the horseshoe crab(カブトガニ) in the ship. It was a strange texture.
