5.大手町ーOtemachi－the heart of Japan Company Ltd.

Otemachi is adjacent to the Imperial Palace, near the JR Tokyo station. And 5 subway lines set up Otemachi stations. If you go to Otemachi by subway, you should check the exit number toward your destination. Or you certainly lose your way. The premise of the stations is just like huge and complicated mazes.

There are many super high-rise buildings in this area, along with neighboring Marunouchi area. Both areas are surely one of Japan's business centers. Many business persons and office workers walk so busily on the streets. This day I found about 50 people with neatly dressed operating their smart phones in front of  the public lavatory near the Kanda Bridge. Most of them looked about 30-40 years old men. Several were female office workers.  I noticed later they were playing Pokemon Go! 

(supplement) The name of Ote-machi derive from the Ote-mon of the Edo Castle. The Ote-mon means the main gate of the castle. Constructing high buildings was not allowed because of next door of the Imperial Palace, but today about 200m high buildings have been constructing in this area. Many red cranes are outstandingly even now.
