3.国立科学博物館－National Museum of Nature and Science, in Ueno Park

Ueno Park, or Ueno Imperial-Gift Park is very famous as one of best spot for cherry blossoms viewing in Spring. There are many people enjoying the cherry blossoms viewing in the park, and drinking under the cherry trees on the plastic sheets until the last train.  Serious Japanese people also go crazy at that time. It's great pleasure for Japanese in Spring. Japanese are looking forward to Spring and viewing cherry blossoms.

Sorry, I have just changed the subject. There are many cultural facilities such as Tokyo National Museum, National Museum of Western Art( World Heritage Site by UNESCO), The Ueno Zoo(giant panda, gorilla, many kinds of animals), and National Museum of Nature and Science in the park.

National Museum of Nature and Science is a very good place to satisfy your scientific curiosity. It is said that about 14K items are exhibited permanently, and especially the exhibitions of flora and fauna, extinct organisms(dinosaurs and so on), anthropology, the universe, physical science are fulfilling, I think. We can hardly see main exhibitions in a day. In the weekend this place is relatively crowded  with young boys and girls.

There are also many exhibitions of stuffed animals.
